You know my mom went to see the
BEATLES IN LONDON I WAS A LITTLE GIRL AT THE TIME AND THERE WAS GREAT EXCITEMENT —as she wanted to go to their concert and it was packed out
she had come to
LONDON AND GONE TO THE LITTLE CLUB where they played as well,
MY EX HUSBAND ROGER EDWIN CARELESS —
JOHN POWERS THE PROF WRESTLER HAD been in that little club at the time as well—he used to go there when they first started playing this was before he became a minder for people like
ROD STEWART AND BEFORE HE PLAYED RUGBY AND BECAME A PROF WRESTLER IN THE UK…..................
I REMEMBER MARK SHENTON coming to
SOUTH AFRICA AND HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE ROLLING STONES MAG AND the work done to do with it—
WE HAD done a lot of theatre and visits to bands that had played in S.A.
AT THE TIME AS WELL
I was a little girl when my mom went to see the
BEATLES —
BUT I still have a pair of boots in the style that they wore that my ex gave me—that came from the UK…........
I HAVE THEM ON —and this reminds me of the years that I listened to the BEATLES AND SUNG THEIR SONGS AS WELL…..THE 55-11TH STREET ORANGE GROVE DAYS IN SOUTH AFRICA —they had a little cinema there and they had shown the movies of the BEATLES THERE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH STUCK IN MY MIND AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHERS AS WELL…...
I gave my
BEATLES RECORD TO MAN I fell in love with—unfortunately he died in a bike crash in the week he got them—I was so terrible—I did not know at the time and phoned and asked for them back—later years and I had replaced all of them or someone else had given me the vinyls back that I had lost and I had all the tapes and the full set of all the
BEATLES ALBUMS
I STILL think about the young man who loved the
BEATLES AS WELL, THAT
I LOANED MY records to and never saw again…....................
THIS WOULD BE DEDICATED TO his as he was a special friend—I have grown up listening to the
BEATLES AND WAS MARRIED TO SOMEONE WHO WAS IN THE CASBAH WITH THEM
WHEN THEY were young…..............
